Help Desk / Desktop Support
Kforce is seeking a Contract PC Support Specialist to work in our Cambridge, Massachusetts Client's Help Desk environment. This Support person must have experience with servicing end-user requests through Help Desk software; be able to manager 5-15 tickets/day; and support local and remote users. This Support person will be responsible for: provision and maintain Blackberries; set-up new user accounts; update Style Advisor data; fulfill loaner laptop requests; update public folder permissions; image and set up PCs; troubleshoot and resolve application issues; create and update distribution lists; assist with end-user moves; troubleshoot and resolve PC issues; assist with technology use in conference rooms; and fulfill requests for loaner Blackberries. The Support Resource will perform telephone and desktop support, with some remote work (20%). Support approximately 200 users. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Must have experience in a Desktop, Help Desk environment Must have strong verbal communication and customer service skills Must have experience with remote access tools Experience with LogMeIn will be a strong plus Must be able to multi-task and be self motivated
