A San Diego, California Company is looking for a UI / UX Designer. This person would be responsible for helping to define the user experience vision for client products and develop UX and UI standards to prototype and implement the UI for each feature in accordance with UX and UI standards. The successful UI / UX Designer applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): 5 years of design experience with at least 3 years of experience designing and implementing highly interactive and marketable UXs and UIs in business-oriented applications including thick clients and applications that will need to support customization, localization, etc. Strong knowledge of the user-centered design process including usability, wire-framing development; and creation of user flows Experience designing user interface for enterprise-wide applications Experience with very complex data sets and relationships that need effective UI/UX for visualization, navigation, and data input / editing / validation Leadership qualities - Drive consensus among multiple stakeholders (business, technical, etc.) Set standards and help enforce consistency without missing business requirements or driving up technical complexity Must be a key player in maximizing productivity of the team while still creating a good user experience that meets business needs Experience and proficiency with WPF, .NET 4.0, Microsoft Expressions Blend, Expressions Design, Silverlight, and XAML is a plus Working knowledge of .NET Framework 4.0 and Silverlight 4.0 Highly organized, strong attention to detail; and excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to identify and solve complex problems in creative ways Ability to work both independently and within a team construct Experience with Agile / Scrum techniques a plus Working knowledge of commercial lending concepts is a plus
