Our client, located in Los Angeles, California, is seeking a Clinical Informatics Data Analyst. The role of this position requires solid clinical knowledge and experience in developing, implementing and providing operational support for clinical information systems. This role will seek to optimize clinical analytics and reporting to meet organizational objectives while balancing the needs of a large group of interdisciplinary users. This individual must be able to foster teamwork through collaboration with clinicians, project managers, vendors, regulatory agencies and technical experts to ensure the reporting of information that will result in improved care and outcomes for our patients. The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics discipline, or related field Demonstrated experience in databases and data manipulation 3-5 years of practical experience in supporting the data preparation requirements of an inter-disciplinary team in a large-scale data analytic context Demonstrate well developed and proven organizational, problem solving, analytical, customer service; and oral and written communication skills At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment Strong communication and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to adapt easily to change and lead others in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: A proven track record in clinical informatics including, but not limited to hospital information systems (HIS), electronic medical records (EMR), and electronic health records (EHR) T-SQL experience
