Position : Front-end Web Developer ( with strong JS/CSS experience ) Rate : $ 45 / hour on W2 Location : New York,NY Duration : 10 + Months Phone and In Person Interview Required TEMP - TO - HIRE *After 3 months •At least 2+ years of experience working directly with Javascript. Experience with jQuery, Backbone.js a plus. •2+ years experience working with HTML/CSS. HTML5 and CSS3 experience strongly preferred. •1 year experience with a backend scripting language. Ruby is preferred, but will consider PHP, Python, Smalltalk, etc. •Familiarity with GIT or other distributed version control system •Experience with MongoDB or other Document stores a plus. •Familiarity with Test Driven Development, preferably RSpec and Cucumber a plus. •Past contributions to Open Source Projects, or maintaining your own project are a huge plus. •Develop and maintain frontend interfaces to our public facing websites utilizing industry standards and best practices in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. •Be comfortable interacting with clients and scoping project requirements and Keep stakeholders apprised of project status.
