Project Manager Rochester, NY Location New Jersey/ New York, USA Program Management Responsibilities: A key member of the Supplier Assessment team, the Program Manager is responsible for managing (and helping to implement) critical processes, projects and information that help to drive the rhythm and impact of the team. The Program Manager must engage effectively at all levels of the organization; collaborate productively with peers, partners, leaders, staff and consultants; and exercise sound judgment and use influence appropriately to drive work forward Specific responsibilities include: 1. Project Management: Manage large and/or complex projects in support of strategy development, resource allocation (both financial and human), investment management, and business performance management. Establish and execute work plans, drive and monitor progress against milestones and key decisions, manage stakeholder communications. 2. Program Management: Provide project team leads with appropriate business and operational support to deliver on team goals. Collaborate with the onsite/ offshore managers and other stakeholders to facilitate key management processes, including annual planning and budgeting; business performance measurement; scorecard management; and resource allocation. 3. Leadership Support: Equip and prepare leadership for strategy reviews, learning sessions, briefings, and bi-weekly submissions of Project progress report to the clients. 4. Cross-team Communication: Work closely with leadership, staff, and client. Coordinate appropriately with Client suppliers for efficient execution of the project. Engage daily with stakeholders within and outside of program area as needed to drive work forward. Qualifications: 1. BE Mechanical / Engineering or Production Engineering with Project Management experience . PMP certification will be an added advantage. 2. Eleven years of broad operational experience, including in the areas of strategy, planning, events, human resources management. 3. Experience in Supplier Assessment Program or Supply Chain related projects are a must. 4. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with demonstrated ability to adapt tone and style for broad and diverse audiences. 5. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 6. Demonstrated ability to lead and support a wide array of projects to successful conclusion while operating in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment. 7. Experience with scorecards and performance management 8. Ability to recruit, lead and effectively manage consultant/vendor resources. 9. Strong analytical and organizational skills, confidence, versatility and initiative. 10. Interest in joining a new division and helping to create the processes, systems, and strategy to enhance program impact 11. Knowledge and understanding of general development issues 12. Ability to travel approximately 15-20%
