SIMEJP00004076 Materials Logistics Specialist Location: Charlotte, NC Length: 6 Months If interested, please send resume to seva@ccsiinc.com Description: Accountable for managing the on-time fulfillment of customer demand for the respective COC (Factory Center or Competence) or SCM (Supply Chain Management) and providing mid-range load visibility to either monitor and analyze firm load, forecast load and capacity, identify bottlenecks, make recommendations and implement necessary actions. Act as primary contact to the Global Order Management for visibility of service forecasts and compile the forecasts for inclusion in factory and supplier long-term schedules. Create top level capacity plans, and annual make or buy decisions with the COC manager and the strategic buying group. Assess risk and determine required actions: safety stock, cycle time contingency, outsource backup. Prepare annual forecast outsourcing requirements. Identify and manage the customers needs, including responding to request for quotations, and requests to expedite or delay product. Communicate promise dates to Global Order Management and resolve internal and external priority issues. Lead Change Management activities. Keywords: Other
