Skills:- Problem Solving Location:- Warwickshire Rate:- �300 per day + expenses Hours:- Fixed We are looking for a talented contractor to help them bring a completely new type of printer to market. The printer offers the highest quality of print available anywhere. The contract will initially be for 6 months with a very high chance of renewal if the work is of a high standard. This is an opportunity to work on a completely new type of machine and get involved in the image processing, machine control and end user interface. The successful candidate will learn how a photographic quality digital printing press works, and all of the ins and outs of producing very high quality output from it. You will learn image processing, colour management, machine control and job processing. You will be working in a small friendly team where your input will be extremely valuable. The Person: The successful candidate will be highly talented with a 2.1 or better in a computer science, engineering, maths, physics or related degree course, a PhD would be an advantage. Must be able to pick up problems quickly and work through them effectively. Competent in C++ or C#. You would also be expected to turn your hand to Perl but no previous experience is necessarily as the coding will be easy to pick up for any high calibre candidate. Rate: �300/day + travel expenses and overnight accommodation (if required)
