Self-employed technicians wanted for a London-wide computer repair company. This will be on a part time availability, in which successful applicants will let us know their availability - we will take bookings, and then pass on work onto you. You will be travelling to the clients in order to fix their computer. Pay is variable depending on your ability to quickly solve a problem, but should amount to approximately £20 per hour. You should - Have considerable experience in technical support and computer repair, preferably on both Windows and Mac, and possibly Linux. - Be able to solve a variety of technical issues, including virus removal, tuning up computers, re-installing Windows, installing device drivers and setting up wireless networks. - Have a friendly and courteous manner. - Have a working knowledge of useful free software, e.g. AVG Antivirus, and be able to install them on a client's computer as required. - Have the ability to travel across London regularly. - Be presentable and punctual. - Have an excellent standard of English. - Have the right to live and work in the UK. Applicants may be invited to a phone and/or face to face interview, during which their technical ability and presentation will be tested. Successful applicants will be working on a self-employed basis; work will be distributed based on contractors' availability and areas which they serve.
