My client, a financial services investment organisation, require a Finance Manager to join the busy property and investment finance division of a large and well established organisation in London. In the role you will manage a team of 10 accountants. Responsibilities: · management of the overall accounting reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of quality financial and management information including management accounts; · P&L and balance sheet analysis; · budgeting & forecasting; · statutory accounting; · overseeing timely delivery of VAT and other statutory returns. You will ensure compliance with agreed procedures and will be responsible for ensuring that financial controls and process efficiency are sufficient for the business. You will bring strong managerial experience and an ability to plan, develop, motivate and inspire your team. You will manage up to 10 people within the General Ledger, AP/AR and the Management Accounts teams. You should also have the ability and desire to add value to the business, are able to deal with people at all levels of the business and have a self-disciplined approach to hitting deadlines, and to ensuring others hit deadlines. Key requirements: · Fully qualified Accountant with proven post qualified experience in a commercial management accounting role, experience within the Property/Real Estate industry is an advantage; · excellent communication and interpersonal skills; · good management and mentoring skills, you must have managed staff previously; · robust personality and commercially aware. You will have a strong work ethic, have a positive outlook and you must be extremely flexible.
