Planning Officer required for a contract in Edinburgh to work with the Local Development Plan project team to identify education infrastructure needed to support housing growth in LDP, using Children and Families' data on school capacities and catchment areas. Experience in planning procedures is essential together with practical work involving the preparation and analysis of data. Successful applicants will be educated to degree level and must be computer literate in a range of applications including Microsoft Excel and be able to produce reports to a high standard.
