Our Client is one of the Worlds largest financial institutions and they are currently looking to recruit a FIX Connectivity Onboarding Specialist, to join their office based in the Docklands, London. They are looking for FIX Connectivity specialist to work closely with Business Development, IT and QA teams on releases and new product functionality. The successful candidate will have a proven track record with in the financial industry. The client is seeking candidate with at least 3 - 5 years experience of the following: Good experience with FIX Protocol messaging and integration Good experience with Client Onboarding and connectivity experience Good experience with Application support or Development background working with electronic trading systems Strong Business/Markets knowledge in either Equities or Futures, FX You must have experience with the following software/databases: FIX protocol 4.0, 4.2 Connectivity, Networks and TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN and SSL UNIX/Linux with Shell Scripting SQL and databases Windows XP/2003 Server   Any experience with in the following would be beneficial although is NOT essential Experience working with extranet connectivity providers and FIX hubs HP Service Centre with ITIL training 3 years+ Experience with a specific vendor OMS product   The ideal candidate will has strong analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent communication and verbal skills.
