Data Architect - Contract - Immediate - £450 -£500 per day I'm currently looking for a Data Architect to start a contract based in the city. You will be working closely with the enterprise architect and it essential worked on large Data Warehouses and data models in the past. Responsible for the design, creation, and governance of corporate-wide technology resources. You will be responsible for designing guidelines, standards to support solution development, and liaising with key stakeholders of the business and application project teams across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Creation of standards Provide training Work closely with application and product development teams Play a lead role Solutions Architect for projects Ability to organise and run workshops to gather requirements and facilitate design decisions for high priority EMEA projects Review key issues related to architecture Provide input on system development life cycle process, methods and tools Ability of analysing data sources, volumes, complexity, for the reports for all EMEA countries Technical Spec Data entity definition, data modelling and database design and lifecycle management knowledge Experience of Data Modeling or large sizes and Data Warehouses of Large Sizes Must be experienced with product/project life-cycle methodologies - Waterfall, RUP, Agile, etc.) Extensive experience with the Microsoft technology stack; SSIS,SSAS, SSRS, in particular .NET, SQL Server, SharePoint, and BizTalk Subject Matter Expert in the technology architecture discipline; concepts and best practices Technology architecture design and lifecycle management Application tuning and performance optimisation techniques Ability to serve as evangelist - Architectural vision, strategies etc Media Sector experience or Consultancy background Soft Skills and Experience Leadership and people management Excellent communication skills as you will need to have the ability to explain technical problems to non techy's Experience in working with stakeholders, process analysis, guiding data architecture Hands on experience in data analysis, data modelling Recent hands on experience in design and development of data solutions Experience with working on large scale projects They looking to interview right away with a view of starting someone immediately.
