The Canada Marketing Manager is an extremely important role within the Americas Field Marketing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the marketing strategy for Canada and then executing against it. II. Critical to their success, the candidate must have a solid grasp of the IT/Telecoms industry, the Canadian market, marketing network solutions, and a strong focus on metrics and results. Responsibilities include: I. Planning, budgeting, execution, and measurement of outbound marketing programs to service provider, enterprise, and government customer segments II. Planning and execution of regional events, including customized company specific events as well as industry events III. Working with channel partners selling to Canadian service providers and Enterprise/Government customers including joint marketing planning, execution and partner MDF management IV. Working closely with key internal stakeholders (sales teams, corporate marketing, solutions marketing, and technical experts) to help develop and define the marketing programs and plan for us in Canada V. As an individual contributor, have a range of marketing analytic, strategic and tactical skills to execute agreed upon plan Skills I. Minimum 5 years of marketing experience; marketing experience in Canada market required II. Strong understanding of the I.T./Telecoms market in Canada III. Experience managing outbound marketing programs to drive sales opportunities and managing events IV. Creative, out-of-the-box thinker when developing marketing strategy and deliverables V. Team player that can localize and effectively leverage programs from other marketing teams VI. Ability to manage and deliver on a pre-determined quarterly marketing budget VII. Results driven and does what it takes to get the job done VIII. Experience working directly with sales organizations, large strategic customers, and channel partners IX. Strong collaboration skills to interact and influence key stakeholders in the business groups, marketing, field and channel teams X. Strong written and verbal communication skills XI. Excellent multi-tasking capability and ability to work in a dynamic faced paced environment XII. Ability to work as a remote self-starting employee with limited supervision XIII. Product/solutions marketing experience with a focus on networking, security, software and/or data center technologies to service providers and enterprise markets XIV.
