Knowledge/ Technical Requirements: · 8-10 years SAP BI Architecture and Data Modeling experience Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Services Architecture & Solution, development and operations, (through BW 7.0/BOBJ 4.0 preferred) · 7 years Business Objects (BOBJ) experience designing and developing BPC Reports and Dashboards · 5 years using SAP BW development tools like BEx Analyzer, BEx Web, OLAP, MDX and BW Administrator Workbench designing and developing BW Objects (InfoObjects, DSO, InfoCubes, InfoPackages, InfoSources, Datasources, Extractors, Transfer Rules, Update Rules) · Minimum of 2 large scale BI full life cycle implementations, including Datamodelling, extractions, data staging, loadings, transformations, and global reporting. · Experience with multiple SAP modules including new dimension products such as BI, MDM, CRM, SRM, Netweaver etc. · Experience with BI Platforms (Micro Strategy, Pentaho, Talend, Informatica, DataStage, Cognos, Business Objects, MS BI, SSIS, SSRS, etc). Duration: · 6-9 months contract but could go longer Location: · Galleria, Houston location · Travel will be Houston and UK (London) - Not sure how much travel will be to the UK, but I'm sure they will need to be a road warrior... Duties: · Work with business and functional teams to define and convert business requirements, processes and designs into comprehensive, robust, efficient, scalable and stable BI Solutions. · Working closely with the user community and IT to successfully architect, design, model, implement, integrate, test and maintain BI and related applications. · Leverage and support best practices in BI/DW solution and service delivery · Design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analysis and dashboards, identifying KPIs to drive key business decisions. · Design, configure, test and implement changes for new or changed business requirements. · Document modifications to configuration. · Perform a review of the current architecture/solution design, validate, suggest improvements, etc. · Provide the technical architecture to ensure advancement of the solution · Provide mentoring/help to other technical individuals on the team · Provide technical oversight/leadership, etc. with our solution vendor. · Works closely with the Product Manager, Project Manager and technical team to ensure a stable enterprise solution that can be expanded as our use of the product increases.· Regards, Rosy 703-349-1004 rosy@tammina.com
