SFDC Admin/Developer Need an individual with a combination functional and technical skills to join our team to provide Salesforce.com Development, Administration and Operational Support while partnering with our Sales and Marketing organization in defining the strategy and roadmap. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Participate in business development activities in conjunction with our sales, marketing, client services, and lab operations team. - Analyze client needs, define business processes, and develop functional requirements. - Make configuration changes or custom coding, testing and deployment of enhancements based on our business needs. - Be responsible and accountable for maintaining the system, adding new features and functionality, and integrating it with other software products used by the organization. - Maintain responsibility for entry, maintenance, and integrity of data in SalesForce.com. Perform routine system admin and maintenance activities Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com functionalities and modules. - Must be very comfortable with Sales functionality of SFDC – Leads, Opportunities, Territory Management etc. - Data load into SFDC from external sources - Experience integrating (batch and real time) SFDC application with other systems. - 5+ years of combined experience in software development (non SFDC environment OK, Java a Huge Plus) - 2+ years of experience with Salesforce.com configuration / custom development. You must have a thorough understanding of Salesforce.com, including the Force.com platform. - 2+ years of working experience in implementing Salesforce.com integrations with Enterprise IT organizations - Expert at Salesforce configuration, Visual Force pages, triggers, workflows and Apex coding - Force.com developer toolkit – Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata - Experience with enterprise integration to Salesforce.com - Experience in Data Migration, Cleansing, De-duplication etc., Hands-on developer - Excellent skills in APEX coding - Ability to code from specification with little oversight - Work under tight timelines - Ability to lead, drive, and own projects - Ability to contribute effectively with little supervision or direction - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be working with sophisticated clients, both in person and virtually and must be proficient at bridging between business needs and technical concepts. - Curiosity, drive, creativity, and a desire to improve. - Attention to detail, commitment to quality. - Disciplined self-starter, able to be highly productive both working alone and in close collaboration with a team. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree a plus. - Project Management skills an additional plus.
