The Mortgage Loan Processor position is responsible for verifying, compiling and reviewing application information for mortgage loans. The position reviews files for all required disclosures, gathers necessary documentation such as verifications of employment and deposits, and obtains title work, surveys, final inspection, homeowners' insurance and payoffs on refinances. The Processor reviews qualifying factors, knows documentation needed for approval under FNMA/FHLMC, FHA and VA guidelines and evaluates self-employed borrowers to determine income for qualifying purposes. Requirements/Skills: High School diploma or GED Minimum of three years of mortgage loan experience Must have current knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA and VA underwriting guidelines Ability to use computer based programs Word processing and loan software experience are a plus Excellent customer service skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information
