Update Classified Site to be W3C Compliant and SEO
*Bids over $100 will NOT be accepted. *Do not request a milestone. 3 Milestones will automatically be created. *In a PM, tell me how you plan on accomplishing #2 *A nondisclosure agreement form signature will be required before starting. The project is to update a classified ad website to be W3C compliant, SEO, and resolve a few other issues: #1 Correct all W3C errors and reduce W3C warnings #2 Change links to ads to include descriptive filenames. Every ad has a title that the user enters into a form when an ad is created. For example, "Felt Road Bike Z26!!!" is an post's title. Also, the ad has subcategory (ex. bikes) value the user enters and the php code automatically creates a unique id for each ad (A60). The URL to the post should be in the format of domain/subcategory/title-postid. The resulting URL should look like http://www.domain.com/bikes/Felt-Road-Bike-Z26-A60.html. Notice how spaces are replaced with hyphens (-) and non-alpha-numeric characters (such as !!!) in the title are not included in the URL. I would prefer it if the html file Felt-Road-Bike-Z26-A60.html does not actually exist but somehow, if someone goes to the URL, the site takes the visitor to the correct ad page. This would be similar to a virtual sub-domain where once a post is created by a user, a html file is NOT actually created but when the user goes to http://.../bikes/Felt-Road-Bike-Z26-A60.php the post is displayed. This new URL change will have to be made to all links on the other pages of the site, including the home page, browse results, the admin module, the email sent to the user for email verification and editing and all other pages with this link. Current: http://www.domain.com/index.php?view=showad&adid=910&cityid=313 Desired: http://www.domain.com/bikes/Felt-Road-Bike-Z26-A60.html #3 Create a site map of the entire site. #4 Make sure images uploaded via site form displays properly #5 Update menu text #6 Update logo and banners with one to be provided #7 Modify the footer with new links #8 Clean up navigation issues of links and cookies to be reset at appropriate interactions #9 Correct form display and alignment #10 Change the List Your Bike button Keywords: Website, PHP, HTML, CSS, SEO, Design
