Kforce is seeking a strong Windows based Application Programmer using the Microsoft .NET Framework for a client in Oldwick, New Jersey. The selected candidate will be working as part of a Project Team developing critical Windows-based software in a .NET environment. Responsibilities include system development and application architecture using VB.NET within Visual Studio 2008 and 2010. The candidate will work with other Developers and a Project Lead to ensure software design meets business requirements. The Developer will be responsible for analyzing technical requirements and pursuing technology solutions to improve performance and achieve business objectives. The successful Developer / Architect applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Must be a strong Windows-based Application Programmer using the Microsoft .NET Framework with 5+ years of experience using VB.NET (2008 or higher) in an Oracle Database environment (11g preferred) The position requires strong analytical skills and experience developing applications in an Oracle Database environment using SQL and PLSQL through ADO and ADO.NET Requires experience developing Microsoft Word automated applications as well as REST, SOAP, JSON, and Web Services Candidates must have effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team Specific Skills: VB.NET Microsoft .NET Framework SOAP JSON Web Services REST PL/SQL AOD.NET
