Our client, located in New York, NY, is seeking a Senior Java / J2EE Developer. Main Duties: Both High and Low system design Complete understanding of all aspects of SDLC Coding in JAVA using Spring Framework, MVC Frameworks, PL/SQL (Oracle), Stored Procedure, in Application server environment and UNIX. Advance features like Caching would be a plus Understand existing business processes, business issue / problems being resolved and have the ability to provide optimal solutions Participate and Support build, deployment testing cycles Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer science or related discipline 5 -7 years of hands on software development experience in the above mentioned technologies At least 2 years of Senior programming level experience involving some architecture and high level design Very strong Core Java fundamentals such as threading model, collection API etc Very good Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL) skills, with ability to contribute towards Database Design and fine tune for performance Strong communication skills Ability to quickly learn new product or skill Working experience in Business Intelligence application in financial Industry is preferred
