Successful Risk Analysts / Risk Reporters will have exceptional analytical skills, a strong understanding of Risk withn the energy sector and a strong track record of Risk Analysis and Energy Risk reporting. A history of working within the energy sector will also be advantageous. During this role you will gain a strong understanding of the fundamentals for UK electricity, European gas, coal and carbon wholesale markets. You will apply risk measurement methodologies on a daily basis, and use your existing analytical, communicative, networking and planning skills to acheive key deliverables. Aside from industry experience, the successful Market Risk analyst will have a strong Market Risk knowledge and a solid understanding of VaR. Excellent mathematical skills and a firm grasp of statistics will be advantageous. Advanced excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, VBA) will be looked upon favourable.
