Job Description: Governing solution implementations to ensure consistency with the solution architecture and with architecture principles, policies and standards Design and development of project-level cross-domain solution architectures Escalate compliance decisions and architecture disputes as necessary to the Enterprise Architect Provide expertise to the project team in developing the detailed design, including guidance regarding enterprise Middleware and system integration Ensure solutions consider INPEX's broader, integrated business processes and leverage appropriate integration technologies, tools and techniques in order to minimise friction between business systems Balance the long term objectives of the enterprise architecture with the short terms objectives of project delivery, accountable both to the Information Systems Lead and Project Manager Report implementation constraints that affect the enterprise architecture back to the Enterprise Architect for resolution Make use of reference architectures to guide design decisions Identify opportunities for reuse of solution components, including the creation of reference architectures Collaborate with creative and technical team members to develop optimal solution architectures Conduct detailed analysis to ensure best cost and performance options are considered, and recommend best practice design alternatives to systems and project teams Translation of customer requests and business requirements into specifications and tangible product changes Ensure delivered information systems meet business process, functional and performance expectations. Job Requirement: The following Qualifications and Experience are a requirement of this position: Degree in IT, or Information Management, or Knowledge Management or relevant experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage people at varying levels of the business Experience working with a broad set of business areas including Exploration, Development, Projects, Producing Operations and Corporate Services. Demonstrable expertise in the software systems and technologies used in the Oil and Gas industry Good understanding of system integration concepts and technologies Strong knowledge of solution architecture modelling tools and techniques Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools Knowledge of architecture methodologies, standards and tools Familiarity with case analysis techniques, modelling standards and object-oriented concepts Experience in TOGAF 9 and other architecture frameworks desirable
