Sr. Business Systems Analyst
Hi, Sr. Business Systems Analyst Objective: The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will plan, direct and complete the analysis of business problems to be solved with technical IT project deployments. This individual will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective, efficient and meet stakeholder and user requirements. Additionally. EUS Engineering project scope: Apple SUS – Software update processes and technology configuration to update and patch Mac systems. Data Discovery – Coordination of Corp service impact of the EIS driven project from desktop to servers, in addition support implication analysis. Juniper "Trail" – Launch of formal trail implementation in coordination with a PM to ensure all stakeholders are well versed and ready for the decommission of “Access” and “Partner”. Lync Meeting or equivalent – Drive migration away from “Live Meeting”, which is coming end of life in Oct. MDM – New Mobile management platform that will need to be deployed to all mobile device worldwide. Requirements within the project phases: Investigation and Planning Coordinate and facilitate impact assessment of project to Engineering, EUS Operational Support teams, Back Office support teams, End-Users. Provide analysis results, based on impact assessment. Collaborate with the Project Manager on all necessary investigation and planning activities including, but not limited to Gathering and documenting high-level requirements Go/no go assessment and formal sign-off from project stakeholders on high level project plan and requirements prior to project kick-off. Project Launch Define and create deployment plans Collaborate with Communications Program on Communication Plan, including roles, timing, content, audience, frequency. Partner with Project Team and Communications Program on internal SharePoint site creation and management Action, Issue and risk tracking and management Coordinate the project team on overall operational support plan Contribute to completion of an overall maintenance support plan and formal agreement. Consult on and create operational support documentation by organization and team Coordinate project team to define overall testing approach Collaborate with project team on end-user requirements, such as FAQs, SharePoint sites and user facing documentation All other deployment activities as defined by the project/project manager Post Go-Live Support and Operational Handoff/Project Close Provide analysis and impact for operational readiness and formal hand-off to operational support teams. Project Close Participate in project post mortem and provide analysis of findings for continuous project deployment improvement. Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: Qualifications: Is recognized as an expert in their knowledge of the business processes in their area of responsibility and can work with the Business to define requirements and core system capabilities that will strategically drive efficiencies in the business taking into account the entire picture as well as the details. Has thoroughly demonstrated knowledge of the application systems in their area of responsibility and can identify, evaluate and define impacts of changes, provide alternatives both to the application changing and all upstream and downstream systems, or identify if a change is a manual process taking into account the entire picture as well as the details. Generally assigned to Enterprise, cross-functional and cross-departmental projects with high complexity and cross-system impacts. Has thoroughly demonstrated working knowledge to conceptualize, document and communicate innovative solutions to meet or exceed business objectives and can reconcile short-term solutions with long-term objectives and infrastructure strengths. Applies and provides examples in and mentoring for modeling techniques to Analyst deliverables. Expert in Planning, facilitating, and participating in working sessions with cross-functional resources and can mentor and assist others in same. Ability to expertly conduct peer reviews to solicit feedback on materials created by self and provide example to be modeled in regard to participating in reviews conducted by others. MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio) Experience in SharePoint administration and collaboration Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables Experience with testing activities and testing-related documentation for systems integration and UAT testing; assistance with creation of test plans and test scenarios – as well as coordination and support during test runs. Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of various business process and system modeling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of the system development life cycle and can train others on SDLC concepts Demonstrates thorough working knowledge to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, create deliverables and delegate to others as well as monitor their work for completion Work Experience and Education Guidelines: High degree of competency within all phases of process analysis, including issue and risk identification and management, change management, tracking dependencies and milestones and communication of overall project status. 7+ years of experience working within industry standard software development project lifecycle methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, SCRUM or others 7+ years of experience creating Requirement, Functional Specification and Test Requirement documents required 7+ years of experience business process design (example: process modeling, use case analysis, etc.) and implementation Preferred skills: - 8-10 years of experience in professional technology organization Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships within and across multiple departments and/or functions within the company and across geographies Six Sigma, ITIL or other Process Improvement methodology certifications or training a plus Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation and persuasion skills Solid understanding of the technical platforms and services required to deliver Corporate Infrastructure Experience in matrixed, cross-functional teams to ensure successful project/program delivery Experience in tracking and reporting on project status and financial metrics Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience required Thanks and Regards Kakuli Estuate Inc. 1183 Bordeaux Dr Suite 22 Sunnyvale CA 94089 Phone: 4086639434 Kakuli.email@example.com www.estuate.com
