Hardware Digital: Design Verification - 24 month contract - multiple openings Job Description: Work on small team developing CPU verification and Testcode. - The position is to verify the design implementation of an ARM CPU core. Work closely with the Design Engineer to write testcode, ARM assembly, from a detailed testplan at the CPU level. This is not a position to verify the CPU sub-system or peripherals, but the design implementation internal to the processor core. Responsibilities: Skills/Experience: Must have: - Detailed knowledge of CPU micro-architecture, graduate school or work experience. - Design engineering or verification background. - ASM level programming experience, RISC type architecture (MIPS, ARM, PowerPC, etc). - Like to have: - 2 to 5 years experience is ideal, more experience is ok. - Firmware or device driver development. - Perl or other scripting language. - Verilog preferred or VHDL experience. Education: Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
