PeopleSoft-to-Workday Conversion Analyst
Are your looking for an opportunity to gain experience using Workday's HCM product to diversify your background with Human Resource Management software? Our client is seeking an Analyst with a background in PeopleSoft to assist them in the converting their systems to Workday HCM. This project will run through the end of 2012 and into early next year, and this individual will participate in all phases of the conversion. This person will work hand-in-hand with the HCM Lead to perform data analysis on the current PeopleSoft systems to define future state requirements and data mapping, and identify data inaccuracies. They will prepare functional decision and process documents that are used to communicate to IT and business users. They will coordinate with functional leads to plan testing schedule, and perform data validations for HR/Compensation data during data conversion process. The Analyst will document functional use test cases for HCM business processes based on functional design and inputs from HCM team. They will also work with Project Manager to track issues and provide testing status across functional areas and business users. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft 8.9 HR with minimum 5 years as a functional analyst Strong HRIS experience including requirements gathering, data analysis and documentation Proven experience in System and User test planning and coordination with the ability to think conceptually to identify test scenarios Proficiency with SQL and Psquery including multiple table joins, subqueries, and conditional aggregation Proficiency with advanced MS-Excel functions and MS-Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong teamwork skills. Detail-Oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Compensation, Position Management and other core HR modules is desired. Candidates who have experience and understanding of full-lifecycle for HR implementation/upgrade projects are preferred. Any knowledge and/or hands-on experience with Workday HCM is a plus.
