Position Type: Full Time Direct with Company Benefits Job Information: BlackBerry Enterprise Systems Administrator/Systems Engineer The Systems Engineer, Analysts are part of the companies response team support group responsible for providing on-site end-to-end technical support to our customers - the ideal candidate will possess 5 to 7 years experience and able to troubleshoot highly complex issues for large customers utilizing internal and external knowledge-based systems. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be capable of providing field technical support and a proactive service presence for our customers. The Field Technical Analyst will provide technical support including advanced troubleshooting, infrastructure health check services and design, change management planning services, and ad hoc technical training onsite. The candidate must be able to manage critical and/or high severity issues by setting customer expectations, devising and implementing action plans, being available 24x7 and effectively communicating to all parties involved. Responsibilities will also include: Provide on-site technical support for the Wireless Handset solution through customer service delivery, technical solutions, professional advice, counsel by telephone, web-chat, email and/or in person Maintain systems in a lab environment to prototype and test operation of the Wireless Handset software, infrastructure and its inter-dependencies, as well as to recreate customer issues for in depth data analysis Research and execute robust solutions by analysing and troubleshooting the output of performance monitoring tools, network packet captures, and debugging information as required Provide technical support and reinforce customer confidence while a resolution is being investigated Play a key role in beta programs, providing input on feature specs, supportability and quality Requirements Skills and Requirements: Education Bachelors degree, in a Computer related discipline Advanced Technical Knowledge with BlackBerry Exchange Server 5.0 for MS Exchange required. BlackBerry OS 6.0 or 7.x required Advanced level knowledge and hands-on experience with the following: Windows 2000/2003 Server, Windows 2000/XP, Microsoft Exchange Server 00/03/07 and/Microsoft Outlook Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills Exceptional customer service, overall communication and technical writing skills Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision Demonstrated aptitude for providing exceptional customer service in customer environments Flexibility to either work overtime or travel on short notice (must have valid passport) Must consent to, satisfactorily complete, and maintain, additional security level clearance in connection with the US government in order to support the customer Technical Certifications such as ITIL, CLP (Lotus), MCP or MCSE Bilingual in English and Cantonese OR in either language of Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or Japanese For immediate consideration, qualified candidates please forward your Resume and cover letter to First Point Group, Inc. to e-mail.
