Responsibilities • Design and implement mission-critical web applications that are highly scalable, usable, extensible, and maintainable - Produce web pages with clean, standards-compliant HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript - Collaborate with the UI/Graphic Designer, UX Designer, and Product Management on feature prioritization, design, and implementation - Write unit tests and work collaborate with QA on their UI test plans - Mentor junior-level software engineers Qualifications • BS in computer science, or equivalent - 3+ years of scripting experience with JavaScript, JSON-based asynchronous APIs, and Ext JS. - Proficiency with web development (HTML, CSS, etc.) - Solid grasp of computer science principles (functional abstraction, design patterns, etc.) Desirable Experience/Skills - Familiarity with agile development process - Experience integrating with third-party applications/features Compensation and Benefits Alliance Data offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive selection of benefit options including 401(k).
