Clinical Psychologist - Secure Service Overall Job Purpose: To contribute to the Psychological Services by assisting with the planning, delivery and evaluation of psychological assessment and treatment programmes, including staff training, support and supervision. To carry a clinical case-load and participate fully in the CPA process and multidisciplinary teamwork. To work autonomously within professional guidelines. To liaise with other psychological services to help ensure efficiency in service delivery and continuity of psychological practice along patients’ care pathways. The idea candidate: - Qualification in Clinical Psychology (Course recognised as appropriate by the British Psychological Society) and HPC registration. - 2-3 years post-qualification experience working with people with complex mental health needs and complex clinical presentations. - Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating specialist psychological interventions and providing advice in specialist area; understanding of therapy process, contextual issues and therapeutic alliance. At present, part or full time hours, permanent or interim contracts are available.
