Our client , Investment Banking Leader is looking for a PMO , to work within a large IT Portfolio for a six month contract to be based in Canary Wharf, London. As a PMO/ Project Portfolio Manager you will be accountable for taking ownership of implementing and operating key portfolio management governance processes, coordinating and tracking process execution across the Management team and stakeholders, and ensuring high quality delivery into high profile IT processes. Key Deliverables: * Support the budget planning process * Project manage and coordinate the execution of the PMO processes * Implement PMO tools and procedures for the team to ensure decisions, issues, risks and actions are tracked * Facilitate weekly meetings with IT business partners to identify and track project deliverables * Coordinate and distribute meeting minutes to ensure actions are tracked and completed. * Build relationships with portfolio stakeholders * Become familiar with the IT Change control template and its usage * Track all status changes and distribute to the team * Develop thorough understanding of the stakeholders team processes , tools and governance * Train portfolio stakeholders on governance where required * Support Portfolio reporting to measure and monitor performance, and to highlight issues and corrective actions. * Support financial reporting and highlight and discrepancies Required skills: * Investment banking industry sector * Strong experience within a PMO function based on IT Projects/Portfolios * Solid understanding of Portfolio financial management * Able to process data and financial statistics for reporting * Excellent attention to detail, highly organised and a capable coordinator * Ability to prepare and facilitate meetings * Risk and issue log management * Proven stakeholder management * Abilty to conduct training to stakeholders Alexander Mann Solutions, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business.
