My Public Sector client is looking for a Web Development Programme Manager/ Web Development Change Manager/ Web Strategy Programme Manager. This role will be based in either Newport or Southampton, with extensive travel between both. The Web Development Programme Manager/ Web Development Change Manager/ Web Strategy Programme Manager role is to make a positive impact on the public perception of the client and to increase the reach and use of client's output. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for dissemination and a track record of leading change. The Web Development Programme Manager/ Web Development Change Manager/ Web Strategy Programme Manager will: - lead a dissemination change programme to help develop and then drive a new Dissemination Strategy - take ownership of the client's website and lead its continuous improvement - lead the further development of the client's use of social media channels for dissemination and user engagement - draw together analysts, designers, developers and dissemination/visualisation specialists into multidisciplinary teams to produce rich and interesting content for dissemination - lead for the client on the transparency and open data agenda - work closely with colleagues in the Communications Division, the Web Data Access Project and the various Analysis and Production Divisions Essential skills: Experience of successfully leading and managing change initiatives and of programme and/or project management, ideally within fields such as online services, web solutions, statistics or publishing. Evidence of a visionary approach to data visualisation and web based data publishing (including social media), knowing what best in class outcomes look like, and being able to develop and sell these ideas including at senior levels. Ability to draw together, matrix manage and provide vision for analysts, designers, developers and data publishing / data visualisation specialists in multidisciplinary teams to produce rich and interesting content for publishing via a variety of channels A successful track record of visible leadership - recruiting, motivating and developing your workforce, fostering a positive organisational culture A collaborative team player, able to work with numerous internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve results Excellent communication skills, including presentational and drafting skills Spring Technology is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
