Dear talented film-makers and camera operators, So We Stand needs you to film their Summer School project, which is being put on in order to introduce students to community organising and social change through a series of talks, seminars and workshops taking place in London for one week starting this coming Saturday. So We Stand is a grass-roots and not-for-profit organisation that works extremely hard to make a significant positive change in this world, and they need your help. This is a truly fantastic project that will hopefully be the first of many and it is vital that we capture as much as possible so that the rest of the world can benefit from the knowledge and vision being shared here. I'm very aware of the time and effort involved in shooting video so I can understand the frustration at not being offered any pay for your hard work. Although I'm not yet entirely certain of how much money will be available to cover expenses, I have been told that there will be some, and that we can discuss this important detail once you're in touch with us in the hope that we can offer you enough to cover your costs, make you happy and join the team! Of course we'd love it if you can commit your time to the whole duration of the project, but we know this will be difficult for many of you and especially at such short notice.
