Data Warehouse Business Analyst required for a 6 month contract with our financial services client in Edinburgh. If successful you will work within our client's centralised Business Intelligence function and will be responsible for supporting the division's information needs. This role involves quality assurance of requirements and design and where necessary facilitation of the capture and definition of requirements. You will be responsible for * Review and approval of requirements documentation * Review and approval of logical design documentation * Capture and documentation of requirements * Team representative on project meetings * Liaison with IT development and test teams * Liaison with test and report development teams * Meta data definition and capture (logical entity and attribute definitions.) * Data profiling and analysis. To be considered for this role you should have proven experience of the following: * Business analysis skills * Data warehouse project experience * Good understanding of data warehouse design principles * SQL skills * Strong documentation and written communication skills Ideally you will also have experience of Quality Centre, SAS query skills and Business Objects report writing.
