The Role We are seeking a contract Web Developer to undertake design and development of a User Interface for a business application within a team of 4 software engineers in an agile development environment. The role will initially be a 5 month contract with the potential to become a full-time employee. Key Results Areas will include: Development of business applications- Work with other software engineers to design develop a user interface for managing the processing of data filesConstruct and execute unit and system testing Undertake peer-to-peer code reviews of colleagues’ development tasks. Ensure clear and early communication, ensuring that relevant parties are kept informed of progress, issues and difficulties. Proactively work to mitigate risks, improve quality in an efficient manner and resolve problems that arise. Participate as part of an Agile team, and follow best practices established by the Scrum methodology.
