The job is to design a custom web application using CSS/HTML5 on the front and PHP/MySQL on the back. (complete front-end and back-end). The web application will do the following: On one end is the expert login. The expert logs into the application and can select from the home page to update personal information (email, pw, etc), earned balance and mainly to create new available time slots to be contacted (date and time). Each time slot that is taken by a student will credit the expert's account balance. On the other end is the student login. The student first register with the website, using basic email. The student then logs into the application and can select from the home page to update personal information and available balance. Then there is an option to select a type of language they are interested in (first roll out only needs Spanish), after which if they select a particular language, a list of language school is displayed. The student can then select a school and then he will see a list of experts. He can also see available time slots displayed per expert. The student can commit to a time slot. When a time slot is selected, the student's credit balance is deducted based on the amount of time they have signed up. The student has the option to use PayPal to purchase more credits. When the student is committed to a time slot, the same time slot on the expert home page is also displayed as occupied and lets the expert know that specific time slot has a student signed up. A cron job can then be setup so that when a scheduled time slot has reached, the application will send a text message to both student and expert to remind them. The application also needs an Admin interface which can control all aspects of the expert and student functions. This includes resetting passwords, changing emails, changing logins, changing student credit balance, changing expert credit balance, changing schedules on both student and expert.
