Design - "How to Get More Followers on Tumblr" - Book Cover Design
Organization name Elizabeth Benefiel Description of the organization and its target audience I am a writer. Industry Internet Description I'd like you to design a cover for my book, "How to Get More Followers on Tumblr." This book is all about the blogging platform Tumblr (http://www.tumblr.com), and how to get more people to follow you in Tumblr, and how to get more attention for your tumblelog in general. The cover must: -Include the title: How to Get More Followers on Tumblr -Include the author's name: Elizabeth Benefiel -Use the font "Bookman Old Style Bold" for the word "Tumblr" in the book's title. You can put the rest of the title/author into whatever font you want, including Bookman Old Style Bold, but the word Tumblr /must/ be in that font. -Be readable as a thumbnail. Since this is an e-book cover, most people will see this cover as a tiny thumbnail on Amazon, Lulu etc. They need to be able to read it, even at a small size. The cover should: -Convey something of the look and feel of Tumblr. -Be simple, eye-catching and appealing. The cover may, if you want: -Make reference to some of Tumblr's features, e.g. likes, follows, the different types of posts, reblogs, the ask box, etc. I've uploaded a cover of another Tumblr-related book that I think does all of the above well. Please don't copy this cover, but use it as an example of how you can do all of the above. The book cover must be: JPEG format 6x9 inches 300 dpi RGB color scheme Notes Before I select your cover, I'll need to run it by Tumblr to make sure it doesn't violate their trademark guidelines. I've already contacted Tumblr and they need to evaluate a cover before giving us the go-ahead. Please review Tumblr's trademark guidelines here: http://www.tumblr.com/policy/en/trademark If you're not too familiar with Tumblr, and want to get to know the site a bit better, start here: http://www.tumblr.com/explore
