T4361/2012 (AHP3) Manual Handling Consultant
Eligibility: Non-Public Sector Employees May Apply The Manual Handling Consultant is a role within Domiciliary Care and is accountable to the Team Leader, Therapy Solutions South for: Providing a high quality manual handling service to all Domiciliary Care staff and their clients; contributing significantly to the prevention of manual handling incidents and injuries across the various portfolios of Domiciliary Care; providing leadership, clinical expertise and consultancy to Domiciliary Care staff and external agencies to improve practices and processes; contributing to the development of organisational policy directives and Complying with relevant workplace legislation, regulations and professional requirements. Essential Minimum Qualifications: A degree or other qualification which gives eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist. Special Conditions: This is a part-time role working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. Current SA drivers licence essential and a willingness to regularly travel across the metropolitan area. May be required to work across and/or be located at any of the Domiciliary Care locations. Some after hours work may be required. Will be required to participate in Performance Partnerships and clinical supervision. A flexible approach to the taking of leave is required. Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a Background Screening and National Criminal History Record Check (NCHRC) prior to being employed and every three years.
