We are currently searching for an experienced Oracle Apps Functional Analyst to join our client on a contract to hire OR full time basis at their Norcross location. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Job Description: The Oracle Applications Analyst - Projects will be heavily involved in the full lifecycle implementation and support of Oracle Projects as part of the Oracle E-Business Suite 11i. This role will consult, design and support with all levels of the organization, providing business analysis for the purpose of effective usage of Oracle Project Costing and Project Billing across the organization. This position will provide primary design and support for the Cybershift and Passport applications and the various interfaces with Oracle Projects. This position will also provide secondary support across Oracle GL, AP, AR, CM, Inventory and Purchasing. This position will support multiple projects/tasks within assigned area of Oracle ERP portfolio and related business applications. Provide daily support for multiple companies in a shared services environment. Essential Duties Oracle support for a multi-business, multi-org instance. Responsibility for resolving all issued assigned in a timely manner. Support a 24/7 business operation where needed. Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills Trouble shooting skills across modules and custom applications that touch Oracle. Leverage project implementation experience to aid business in performing daily operations in a more efficient operation Communicate with accounting users on potential problems related to process steps and procedures. Occasional international travel to sister organizations. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience: Strong experience with full lifecycle 11i Oracle Projects and general IT project implementations and roll outs, including requirements analysis, scope design, configuration, testing, training, deployment and post production support. Strong experience is necessary in business process analysis and design, including requirements / process analysis, conceptual and detailed design. Experience with interfacing external systems to and from Oracle Projects preferred. 7 plus years direct experience with Oracle Projects 11i in a support / implementation role. Solid working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Financial applications (GL, AP, AR, CM, Purchasing, Inventory) Demonstrated experience in design, testing and implementation of Oracle Projects client extensions Demonstrated experience in functional design, testing and implementation of interfaces between Oracle E-Business Suite and external systems Experience working with Time and Labor management systems or payroll systems Ability to design, document, test, implement and support functionality across areas of assigned responsibility Ability to manage end user issues encompassing troubleshooting, logging Oracle SR and managing end user interactions Knowledge of ADI and Discoverer report generation. SQL and query experience with Toad or similar product for diagnostics. Oracle R12 planning and upgrade experience would be a bonus. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word / Excel / Project / Power Point / Outlook). Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direct supervision. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
