We are small manufacturing business that is beginning to create marketing materials to stay in contact with our current clients and to help us bring in more clients. We have never created written marketing materials before, like a monthly printed newsletter with creative articles about our owner or what we do, or articles about tips and ideas around our products. Basically we need to move into being a "publisher" of content around what we manufacture, our personalities, things we are doing, to create constant and fresh content to keep in front of our customers. We are also wanting to create a Media Box containing articles about us. As you can see, we are looking for a high-quality writer who is used to interviewing an expert to extract the "story" and then turning it into an engaging article. You need to have an "ear" for the angle of the story so you can, like a journalist, turn it into a compelling document. We are not looking for an average writer who is used to looking up articles on the web and creating content from other articles. We are looking for a writer who can dig deep into what we do and "pull out" stories that we can use for our monthly newsletter and informational emails. This would require you to engage with us via Skype on a regular basis, because we don't have the gift of writing, that will be your job. Are you up for the task? You'll need to have near perfect speaking and writing English skills with the ability to self-edit, so you don't send us drafts with typos or sentences that don't flow. We are open to a possible hourly rate or a rate by article you write. Most importantly, be sure to include writing samples in your response so we can see if you're writing fits the quality we are looking for.
