Change Manager
Change Manager Our large Federal Government Department Client is in a significant period of growth and requires an experienced Change Manager for an initial 6 month contract. This position is based in Canberra. The role: In order to be considered for this position, candidates must be of Australian Citizenship, who currently holds or has an ability to obtain a security clearance. A current security clearance is desirable. The department is seeking an experienced Change Manager to assist the Finance Strategy and Services Division of the department to implement a broad transformation program. Furthermore, your day to day responsibilities will include: work with specialist HR Service areas that will be providing a range of support functions for the transformation program including the development of role descriptions, Personal Development Planning through PDA’s, coaching and training. work with senior level staff in the division to assist in the implementation of new and/or changed roles, revised classifications, and capability expectations of staff. develop detailed impact assessment for the change program and transition plans for teams to enable them work through a structured process that reflects to goals of the transformation. develop a detailed engagement strategy across the division, which includes both National Office and our State/Territory Office Network staff. support the CFO by working closely with the Change Communications team to develop a communications strategy that address both his staff and the broader departmental staff. As the ideal candidate, you will be in possession of the following skills and experience: Mandatory Requirements: Extensive hands on experience working in an organisational change management role, ideally managing workforce changes. Highly developed communication, liaison, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Manage high workloads and accomplish goals within tight deadlines. Ability to translate strategy into action plans, and implement those plans. Ability to recognise and act on opportunities.
