Network Performance / Optimisation Engineer Contract Manchester PP / C / NPO / RJH Optimisation Engineer needed for immediate start for vital project roll out in the Manchester area, requiring a strong and recent background in network optimisation and performance. Key responsibilities of the Network Performance / Optimisation Engineer; * KPI analysis of statistics and drive data * Hardware changes such as antennae types, tilts, azimuth, TMA addition & Carrier Upgrade. * Provide reports, recommendations and implement changes * Pre installation/post implementation performance management Desirable requirements of the Network Performance / Optimisation Engineer; * Live experience of UMTS/LTE Networks * Strong working knowledge of ops and maintenance/optimisation of 2G/3G networks * Nobe B and luB upgrades * Strong knowledge of RAN capacity/coverage/congestion * Understanding of air interface signalling in order to improve QoS * N-cell definitions and parameter tuning Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent skills in; communication , prioritisation, interpersonal relationships with staff/customers/suppliers at all levels.
