Resident Liaison Officer
Our client, a housing provider based in the Gwent area has approached BRC seeking a Resident Liaison Officer on a 6 month temporary contract. The main purpose of this role is to assist in the delivery of various Community Regeneration projects, ensuring all regeneration activities are community driven. Day to day duties: - In conjunction with stakeholders and residents identify local needs and aspirations, ensuring that aspirations are realised in regeneration projects and that all projects meet local needs - Actively promote the tenants involvement in various projects and initiatives, ranging from a multi-million pound regeneration project to social enterprises - Deliver three Neighbourhood Action Plans across three communities, each with their own characteristics that requires key message to be communicated in order to build on and sustain relationships - Collate and analyse all resident and stakeholder feedback on the services provided - Enable residents to express any concerns and assist in translating these concerns into positive plans to develop and improve communities - Actively support and promote local social enterprises - Manage and allocate the Environment Improvement Fund (£100k) - Conduct presentations and develop and co-ordinate various community events and meetings To be considered for this post YOU MUST HAVE: - Experience of working with members of the public in order to engage them in various community events and social enterprises Desirable Requirements: - Experience of work with and engaging social housing residents in a Regeneration programme For further information on this role please contact Richard Thomas on 02920 231 000 or email your CV to apply-21619668-2513@at.idibu.com
