IT Support Engineer
Working for a well-established organisation, you will be providing general 1st and 2nd line support (Hardware & Software) within a Microsoft (MS) environment. Day to day responsibilities will include general troubleshooting and call resolution within a Service Desk / Helpdesk environment - including scheduling follow up calls and installation bookings for end users. You will also be administering and support desktop applications and hardware including printers as well as being involved in PC builds, repairs and installations and general Deskside Support. This is a customer focused technical role which would suit someone from either a Service Desk / Helpdesk or Deskside / Desktop background with 1st and 2nd line support experience. Technical skills required for this role are Desktop MS Applications including MS Office / Windows XP / Windows 7 and MS Active Directory (AD). A basic understanding of Networking principles including TCP/IP, routers, DHCP and DNS are also highly beneficial for this role. This position is to start asap and will pay between £15 - £20 per hour (ltd/umbrella) depending on experience.
