We are looking for a highly experienced Internal Communications Manager to join a leading global IT Company. You will have strong experience in this field and be able to hit the ground running, in August for 12 months to cover maternity. Working closely with all the divisions to enrich the current internal communication channels, you will deliver the plans and key messages effectively through a variety of channels, monitor their effectiveness and manage multiple projects and events. You will be responsible for implementing the corporate and divisional strategic internal communications plan, turning complex messages into engaging, clear and effective communications, measuring the success of strategic plans and campaigns across the globe and maintaining productive relationships throughout the business focussing on senior stakeholders. In addition you will also be responsible for managing an Internal Communications Specialist and managing the budget ensuring cost effective communication solutions to meet needs. The client has a number of key projects in planning including an employee engagement survey, people roadshows and management conferences, so you should expect a busy contract! As a person, you will have exceptional communication skills, have a confident, positive and proactive attitude, high level organisational/time management skills and be a self-starter at all times. You will have worked within an internal communications role ideally a large, corporate organisation working across multiple locations – global sites would be a real advantage. You will have organised and attended roadshows and conferences, have experience of surveys and video conferencing.
