A Technical Business Analyst is required by our customer, a London based Government Department. The Business Analyst will work as part of a small team, responsible for business analysis and business change within a project. In addition to business analysis and change management skills, a strong background in IT security and/or technical project delivery would be highly desirable, with CLAS skills proving particularly valuable. The post holder will be required to: Review and update an existing set of requirements. Work with a complex set of business and technical stakeholders who have already been identified. Prioritise update requirements and ensure acceptance criteria is identified. Work with test teams to ensure that requirements can be effectively tested in order to meet acceptance criteria. Identify key business change factors and assess impacts on the business. Assessment to support this activity will include a degree of business process modelling and IT enabled process change. The key tasks required will include: Work with business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements become clear, concise and unambiguous. Work with business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements can be and are prioritised, to enable scheduling into a phased delivery by the Project Manager. Work with business and technical stakeholders to ensure requirements are easily traceable on an ongoing basis. Lead with business change and communication to the User group, providing project updates to a range of stakeholders. Review and quantify the �benefits case� for the project deliverables. Provide an ongoing analysis of business change and advise the project manager accordingly.
