Design - Creative T-shirt Design for National Non-profit
T-shirt type Standard short-sleeve T-Shirt Target audience Men Women Boys Girls Color of the t-shirt material White - only white, please Required on the t-shirt Description: Free to Breathe is the National Lung Cancer Partnership’s nationwide run/walk/yoga/golf/bike event series with more than 30,000 participants across the country who’ve come together to form a community dedicated to defeating lung cancer. This design will be used on apparel and merchandise in the Free to Breathe online store. We’re looking for exciting and fun original artwork that represents the hopeful and energetic community-focused spirit of our Free to Breathe event series. We need a highly original design that has that artistic edge while bringing together the key elements. Most importantly, it should be a design people want to buy. We may be using these t-shirts to say thank-you to our top fundraisers, so we really need something special. We’re open to ideas and will gladly provide feedback on each design that provides a jump-off point. Required: • Free to Breathe logo (submitted). • The words Hope, Awareness, CHANGE (with emphasis on “change,” using either color or typography). • The design must fit within our 10” x 10” screen size, to be printed centered on the shirt’s chest or back. No additional printing can be accommodated (eg. no printing on sleeves, collar, bottom of shirt, etc.) • 3-color OR 1-color designs preferred. The following three RGB colors are required in your design: Red: 180, 46, 52 Light Blue: 176, 203, 234 Dark Blue: 28, 63, 148. Additional colors could be considered, depending on the design. Style/theme ideas for the t-shirt • We’d like something that uses the words as visual elements – not just a tagline tacked on after-the-fact. • The fonts used in our logo are from the Franklin Gothic family, but we’re open to seeing any kind of typography that fits with the design. • We uploaded several examples of our event series-wide t-shirt designs so you can get a feel for the wide variety of approaches we’ve used in the past. What to avoid • Please avoid any graphic references to run/walk/ride/yoga/golf events individually, as the shirt will be offered for purchase to participants in all types of events. • Please no photography, designs based solely on clip-art or cheesy fonts • Absolutely no references to smoking or cigarettes.
