Service Architect / Service Design – ITIL, CoBIT, ISO The Service Architect will be expected to provide delivery support for the end-to-end service architecture.The Service Architect will be working within the programme team as part of a critical change programme to both improve quality of service and transform the core infrastructure environment. Activities Work with internal and outsourced delivery teams to design an end-to-end service architecture in line with the organisations Target Operating Model Coach and mentor delivery teams and process owners to ensure effective and efficient exploitation of process and toolsets in support of the service objectives Design incident prioritisation structures, service and operating level measurements and supporting operational reports Provide leadership and consultative input to the service desk team in relation to the integration and operation of the service desk in a multi-vendor environment Actively engage with architect and service management teams to design toolset, monitoring and alerting solutions for end-to-end event management Skills Ability to architect a service in support of an approved Target Operating Model including the specification of key roles and responsibilities as well as detailed process and toolset designs Strong operational background, specifically within a managed service environment Good understanding of technology and service governance requirements within a multi-vendor outsource environment ITIL Experience of ISO2000/ISO27001 CoBIT and ITIL v3 an advantage Ability to operate as a peer with enterprise and other technical architecture professionals; F ull service lifecycle experience from service management strategy through to transition plans with experience of capturing and managing risk, issue and assumption relating to service artefacts and service operation
