Communications and Web Content Assistant Weybridge 6-9 month contract Salary: £21,000 pa An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Graduate in Journalism or Communications who has some experience updating website content, blogs and creating other communications material. My client is looking for a person who is passionate and creative. You will be writing compelling communications content across a range of platforms that generate interest to be noticed by a worldwide audience including those in fashion, craft and agricultural industries. Your responsibility will be to grow the current social media strategy by using social media marketing techniques to increase visibility and to implement and manage social media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in social media tools and techniques, including Twitter and Facebook, Marketing (traditional, new media, guerrilla and ‘word of mouth’), Strategy, Product Marketing, Journalism/copy writing, Press and Project Management. You must have very strong research skills, be creative, have ability to analyse large amounts of data into actionable information, excellent writing skills and a willingness to use them, excellent verbal communication skills, ability to create great working relationships with all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines, ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams, be persuasive, have a sense of humour, proactive self starter with an excellent work ethic.
