Owing to maternity leave, we are looking for an experienced resourceful marketing professional to join our Marketing and Communications team for up to 12 months. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications and line managing a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for developing the charity’s marketing and digital plans in line with the overall communications strategy. You will take ownership of our website and all other digital and social platforms and ensure the safeguarding of the Blind Veterans UK brand in all communications. With your thorough knowledge of the strategic principles of marketing, digital communications and social media, you will be able to demonstrate experience of raising awareness through well planned and managed marketing and digital campaigns. With a good understanding of search engine optimisation you will be skilled in website and social media analytics. A committed individual you will be used to working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to increase awareness in a crowded market place.
