OXFAM ARE RECRUITING VOLUNTEER CAMPAIGNERS FOR THE DEER SHED FESTIVAL 2012!!!
Are you passionate about making a difference? Oxfam are now looking for volunteer Campaigners for the Deer Shed Festival where you'll be doing just that The Deer Shed festival will take place over 20th – 22nd July 2012 at Baldersby Park,Topcliffe, North Yorkshire . The 2012 festival line up includes... Saint Etienne, Villagers, Cherry Ghost, Los Campesinos!, Dutch Uncles and much more... Plus there will be cinema, theatre, spoken word, poetry, arts and kids activities too.... Check out the Deer Shed website for more festival related info: www.deershed.co.uk Your role onsite as a Festival Campaigner will be to take the message of our GROW campaign out to the crowds. You'll be talking to festival-goers all over the site and encouraging them to join a movement for global food justice. Key responsibilities: . Work with your team to promote Oxfam’s campaign and related activities at the festival. . Talk to anybody and everybody onsite about Oxfam’s GROW campaign and how they can participate. . Take part in creative activities that engage festival-goers in the campaign. . Act as an ambassador for Oxfam . Have fun! And for all of our campaigners there's the chance to attend the festival for free and enjoy the music as a thank you for all your good work!
