In-house full time Legal translators AR<>EN Source language(s): Arabic, English Target language(s): English, Arabic Details of the job: - Senior legal translators AR<>EN Salary: based on experience Location: Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt Type: Full-Time A newly established company in Nasr City Responsibilities  Translates general & specialized documents (financial, legal and administrative .. etc) from English to Arabic and vice versa.  Revises documents translated by our in-house and freelance teams of translator.  Proofreads Arabic/English versions of documents to be published and/or posted on the Web.  In collaboration with the Manager / Director, Linguistic Services, conducts terminological research &establishes correct terminology for use and standardization; input records into terminology database.  Maintains high standards and offering occasional customer support.  Contributes to the development and maintenance of Translation Manual(s) & Style Guide(s). Special requirements to the applicants: Requirements:  A Bachelor degree in Translation from a recognized academic institution is required.  3 to 5 years of proven experience in similar positions.  Awareness and understanding of linguistic and cultural identity.  Ability to carry out in-depth research in order to solve terminological issues.  Effective handling of numerous projects simultaneously and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines with utmost quality levels.  Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Arabic and in English; sound proofreading skills; a thorough knowledge of grammar and punctuation in both Arabic and English; superior organizational skills with close attention to details.  Excellent computer skills are necessary and proficiency in MS Office Applications & Internet.  Knowledge and practice of CAT tools & software (TRADOS / SDL / WordFast … etc)  Ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
