Global Web Content Manager
This role will assist in content development and deployment on regional websites for our client. You will be driving the continued adoption of centrally developed content across these sites and will support regional teams in the localization activities. The end goal is to launch updated regional websites. The Content Manager will manage the work of multiple regional site projects through the efficient and effective use of decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and process analysis skills with minimal supervision. Any candidate that we present must have exceptional CMS expertise (power user at a minimum) and a solid grasp of global online marketing tactics, corporate website design, and analytics. Responsibilities include: · Assist in the implementation of the global web content strategy. · Assist in the update of regional websites for client’s emerging markets (Brazil, France, Germany, India, Korea, Latin America, Russia, Spain, UAE) . · Finalize business requirements and determining what application development is necessary. · Work directly with vendors to secure translations using XLIFF. · Lead the localization effort with regional marketing teams to ensure translated content is reviewed, localized, and launched in a timely manner. · Hands-on work in an enterprise CMS environment to author page content, including global navigation, page menus, body content, etc. · Execute user acceptance testing with an extreme eye to detail. Candidates must be experienced working with multiple sites in different languages but fluency in other languages is not a requirement. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree is required. · Expert-level experience with internet content management systems is critical to the success of this role. Experience with Ektron Web CMS strongly desired. · A minimum of six (6) years in corporate global internet site content development, management, localization, and maintenance · Global content management and understanding of localization and translation processes using the XLIFF format and their implications for content development is important · Experience in defining site architecture, layout, and navigation. · Attention to detail, effective interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), time management, administrative process management and task management skills, and effective reading, writing and research skills are required. · A customer (internal and external) service orientation is required. · Experience must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with individuals of varied personalities and professional disciplines, and to perform assigned tasks without supervisory reminders. Managing expectations is a key to success. · Must possess a strong web production background and be able to work with XML, HTML, and CSS, but this is not an application development role.
